The Fool-Proof Guide

     Alot of people have trouble when it comes to making torrents. It usually has something to do with the tracker not working. Here is a foolproof guide that will allow you to make and use torrents by bypassing the tracker announcement.

To start, you need a copy of BitTorrent Version 4.2 or greater, and the file you wish to make into a torrent (or torrentize).

After you have installed Bittorent and found your file, you should get a window like this when you start it up.

From here, click file and seleck "Make New Torrent"

You should now get a window that looks like this.

Choose your file, and fill in the information.

Now Click the "Use DHT" Button, and click on the first host, "router.bittorrent.com:65536".

Click The "Publish" Button. You should then be presented with a progress bar. After it finishes, click "Start Seeding"

     You should be put back to the first window you saw when you started up the program. This time, though, your file will download like any other torrent. Thats it. Your done. Now you can upload these torrents to your site, and then submit it to BitTorrent, which will track the download speed.
